I use to get spotted all the time 15+ years ago when I was an HCM client. I would be walking through a mall or somewhere out in public and people would stare at my head like it was on fire. I was at a family reunion 17 years ago and my grandfather who was blind in one eye and had only partial vision in the other kept staring at my head and asked if I was wearing a wig. That hit me like a ton of bricks. Can't even begin to tell you how miserable I was back then.
