Its just a haircut.
Many of us wouldn't want to walk in to an ordinary barbers/stylists and so called 'specialists salons' are taking advantage of that with their prices.

I would suggest getting a mobile hairdresser around that does home visits.
That way you get the privacy but don't pay the fancy prices.
