I've called four "hair replacement" salons in Tampa, FL and they all want to charge at least $160+ to cut in a Toplace unit, based solely on the fact that I'm not using one of their salon's units. One place even asked for $220! This cost is outrageous! And when I speak to these stylists on the phone, I can tell they're upset that I won't buy one of their units and, instead, opt for a unit I purchased from the internet. One of the salon owners even said to me, "Unfortunately, more and more people are coming in with units they bought from the internet!" I thought to myself, how is that unfortunate?! Because they don't have to pay your ridiculous prices anymore?

Do you guys seem to run into this problem? And how do you get around it? I can handle maintenance cuts myself, but I'd much rather have someone else handle the initial cut-in for me.
