Ok guys.. I contacted Debbie and asked for her input ..she mailed me back and gave me permission to post her reply here so I hope it`s of interest and help to anyone having problems with knots.... I`ve rarely seen a person complaining regarding Toplace systems not being properly bleached and just to point out that the problem-system which expriest is showing us, is NOT a Toplace one. Here`s Debbie`s reply:

I've had this happen before also and it's very frustrating. all pieces are bleached at the factory if the company you ordered from offers this service (most do), but sometimes the knots do not look as good as other times....so we bleach them again...and I've had a few pieces where the knots would simply JUST NOT LIGHTEN....very frustrating, on one piece, all the hair fell out from bleaching yet the knots never did lighten. it does happen occassionlly and I have no idea why, all I can think of is that perhaps some synthetic hair gets mixed in with the human hair???? that's just a guess. sorry I cannot be of much help on this, I know its frustrating as all get-out when it happens!!! I've been there and even ruined pieces because of it!!
