Not sure celebs are doing it though, no doubt they will be going down the hair transplant road as I'm sure they would be found out i..e Movie stars needing different hair styles for different movies etc...

Yes I noticed your posts and that youre also from the uk - I think we have a lot in common as we are both about to embark on the same move from concealer to a system. May I ask what concealer you use/used? I use nanogens. Also, have you had many comments about your hair getting thicker?

With regards to celebs not using systems take a look at these:

Dec's (ant and dec) hair regrew "over night" ruling out a transplant. Its either concealer of a system:

Ben Affleck is also apparently at it:

And a heck of a lot more:

I found that when I looked on other balding sites (ones where all the users are into drugs/surgery over cosmetic intervention) the results picks people were putting up for propecia and transplants are just not what you are seeing in the celebrity world (look at the results will young has apparently achieved: http://www.baldingcelebrities.com/2010/0...young.html ) its just not realistic that drugs could produce such a full lush head of hair after such loss. It has to be cosmetic and that means concealer or a system of some type.

Like a lot of the articles say - they are only human! And if they are happy to create a massive cover up who are we not to take advantage of it! Big Grin

I used toppik for the past 5 years or so I wish I had used it when I first was losing my hair, it would have made things much easier. Especially as I started to get comments from people at work and a certain family member (I mentioned earlier)> But as I grew my hair and used concealers the comments stopped but I rarely ever see the family member. So friends and family are used to my hairstyle and I'm sure cant reemember 10 years ago that my hair was thinning (they'd have a job remembering last week lol) but as I havent seen that family member for a few years I know if I did they would mention my hair immediately so its nice to have a story incase they did.

The only problem I would have is if I did see that person it would probably be with the rest of my family so if they did make a comment not only would it be embarassing but also would make the rest of my family think about my hair....not good...I could always contact the person concerned before any possible family occassion.

Back to the celeb wigs, I have no doubt there are celebs going down the concealer / hair piece root, many of them no doubt will eventually I think go down the HT route, maybe covering their loss until the HT grows in but unless there is a dramatic change in their appearance or they are open about it like rooney we're just guessing.
