Just dampen your hair and slick it back/down as much as you can....the front bit will be the most important as that`s what you`ll be eventually exposing.... most Toppers are oval shaped.... I think you said you need to cover some hair loss in the temple areas too..... just make it so that you take in the temple areas and just go backwards from there with it towards the crown-point where it will curve to a `finish`...... you`ll be trimming off the partial from the front section when your topper arrives, so that`s the most important bit to have accurate.
