So I have been wearing since about Nov now and had not had any issues with itchy scalp or irritation. However 2 months ago a red itchy ring where the tape sits is now on my scalp. I can seem to get rid of this red ring. For the last 3 weeks I have been using liquid banadage on the area where the tape meets the scalp. Also when the liquid bandage comes in contact with the red ring on my scalp it burns really badly until it dries. This does not seem to do much although it does look a little better at the end of the day as I now remove the system to wash my scalp every day and apply hydrocotisone cream to the iritaed area.. I have also tried switching tapes as this all started with Walker no Shine, I have since moved on to blue liner....but cant seem to get rid of this red itchy ring on my scalp. Do you guys have and suggestions? Is it possible that the skin is permanetly damaged?
