I think what JRob was getting at about French Lace is that it is much more durable and "User-friendly" for a brand new wearer.

I can attest to that. SFS front is so fragile and will drive you nuts at first until you figure out all the delicacies and handling of it. The cleaning and gluing requires much more art and skill to get the hairline just right.

Try french lace at first, then once you get "seasoned" and comfortable with wearing, then go with the SFS!
