As tax return season is upon us I would like to remind people that if you are wearing a hair piece due to hair loss from cancer treatment (chemo therapy, etc.) that the cost of the hair systems are tax deductible. So be sure and claim the cost as a tax deduction on your returns. I'm not sure if alopecia patients can take a tax deduction as there is no medical treatment for alopecia---can anyone help out on that with and answer?
