Guys,
I am totally new to this. So forgive me if I ask the same questions that may have already been answered.

I am a NW5 with diffuse thinning on the top. My hair line is gone....the bald spot on my crown is getting and getting .. i think..

My sides and my back is fine. I am keeping buzz cut #1 clipper. It looks nice.

My questions is where do I start. I dont know anything about base, glue.. type of cut etc etc...

I see some pictures on here and looks very nice....

Is there someone or someplace i can go in Chicago to see in person...

Any help/adivse is greatly appreciated....

the best advise I can give you is to read this forum page by page...you will learn all about bases and glues , tapes etc., it is invaluable information and a wealth of knowledge....please do educate yourself by reading the posts...you will be surprised how much you pick up!!
there is a stylists lists under "resources" at the top of the page...I do believe there is someone in the chicago area.
If you wanted to post some pictures for us, I'm sure we would be able to make some specific recommendations for you.
