I bought a head block and wahl razor set. Pinned the piece down and used a number 8 for the length..you really cant go wrong using one of those guides. I then went around the sides and back with thinning shears ta da! it looks pretty good for a first try.

I decided to get a little extra blending on the sides and back so went to my wonderful hairstylist. She only charges ten bucks for a blend and 13 if I get my real hair and piece cut, but I tip very generously.
