Thanks. yeh good point i never thought to try it on the remaining part of the topper and see what happens. I'll definitely give it a go first and see what happens.

When applying the Back2Natural be sure to keep it off the knots and base of your system. They state in their promotional material that it won't stain base materials, but my experience has been that it does. Be very careful to keep it off any area with bleached knots. I use a comb and carefully apply it slowly and evenly through the hair keeping it well away from the knots.

It shouldn't change the hair color drastically, but does a good job of toning down the golds and red undertones that start to show up after a few weeks of wearing. If the hair doesn't look quite dark enough after one application you can always reapply it, or leave it on for a longer period of time if you need to without doing any harm.

Also take care not to get it on clothing, etc., because it will stain anything absorbent.
