hello...i'm looking to have a really strong glue that stays strong for a month...does anybody here knows a glue like that?... also my location has a temprature with a very hot weather almost 7 months a year. please share your experience... thank you

My experience is that most glues hold a bond for about 1/3 of the time they claim to.
Not many wearers get a solid 4 week hold.
Most of us like to rebond every 7-14 days max.
Its good to be able to clean the scalp and shave any regrowth.

Personally I would advise to have more than one piece so you can detach & re-attach quickly and do the clean up of the old piece at your leisure.

I would have thought Ultra Hold would probably give one of the longest bonds, but the clean up require specialist products.

All glues act differently on different skin types, so others will probably have other recommendations including long bond tapes.

thanx Hersute...do you think the hot weather and sweating will have a major effect on the ultra hold glue?...with such a weather how much you think it will last per one attachment?

I think the white glues tend to break down faster with sweat.

Ultra Hold isn't a white glue and it says its waterproof.

There are other 'hard bond' glues like Sensibond and Endurabond, but again, these can be hard to clean up and can shorten the life span of your hair piece.

If you google these brand names along with the word 'reviews' you'll be able to read up on other people's experiences and opinions.

I swear by orwg, oil resistant white glue,
week 1 week 2 very strong hold, by week 3 &4 the bond is significantly weaker,weaker

we wearers know hold is dependant on many factors, mainly personal skin type, oily, dry,

temp,humidity,


whether youre physically active, or physically fit,

summer is a testing time for all wearers,

just search the forum for holiday tips, long bonds ect,extended wearing, or try utube.

im allways more confident on week one and week 2 of my bond.

if youre worried about youre bond or its hitting youre confidence don't take any chances,

do a rebond, theres nothing like a decent bond for increasing youre confidence.
