the last picture is the best...it looks better...also consider having sideburns...I hate when I see people without sideburns...even girls have them.Why would you shave your sideburns? all the hairstyles without sideburns looks weird in my opinion...

Go for 2cm or center of the ear for proportion and balance.

If you bring the sideburns down to where the top of the ears start to open up, I think this looks better.
Most ears are lopsided, so it might be a different length on each side.
