Do I just wet my hair and slick it back or something?

Are you talking about having hair under your template? Or do you have a frontal hair line that you want to put a hair system behind?

Im talking about hair under my template.

All you're trying to do is trace around the area you want covered, and you need to be able to see that area.
So if slicking the hair keeps it out of the way, do that.
