I found it here for about $20 plus tax so I've ordered a tub to try it out. I have been using Bryl Creem Remouldable Cream for about 8 months and like it but it doesn't offer as much hold as I need without getting greasy looking. It's fantastic for smoothing out the hair and giving it some weight and making it more natural looking, less frizzy. Any hard wax I've tried is greasy and feels horrible.

Tried the hardwired from Mitch by Paul Mitchell - Amazing product for my spiky looks. the hold is superb and it washes out easily. I use a blow-dryer with low to no heat to style and put the hair in place.

Tried Dry Wax by Paul Mitchell - I like it but it's a little waxy. Even after i shampoo it, i can feel the wax is still there. The hold is great, a little less shiny than waxworks

Tried Waxworks by Paul Mitchell - Love it but it doesn't hold, the hair looks good on the first day, but the second day, it flattens the hair unless you moisten with a little water and blow dry with low to no heat.

Tried L'oreal Serum (no Alcohol) - It looks too shiny and it has that wiggy shine. perfect for light brown hair or blonde.

Tried Bluemax - Too greasy for me but it soften the hair

Brycreem is the only cream that i have not tried...

I finnaly got hold of some Dry Wax. Horrible stuff! It's very greasy, shiny and it doesn't wash out. After two shampoo sessions it was still in my hair and on my hands. I would not recommend to anyone who wears. It's also a ridiculous price in Canada at $20-25. Avoid like the plague.

My favourite product at the moment is Bed Head Matte Separation Workable Wax. It's like a wax+clay+mattefying paste hybrid and gives great hold, washs out easily and the matte effect tones down that shiny plasticy look of wig hair.

You know what snipe.. I got a new mission for you. I like your product recommendations, I have tried a few different ones myself over the years, but I am still using waxworks based on your recommendation. I would try some of the other ones, but I don't like matte finishes that much cause it doesn't help as much with the blending etc. The ones with shine bring life back to the system i find.

A lot of us use got2b glued for attaching our units. I think you would be the perfect guy to find something even better than got2b glued. There probably is a product out there that gives even a better hold than got2b with the same easy clean up. That would be a jackpot for me.

I wanted to buy some Brylcreem but now have noticed that there is an American and a British Version which apparently are different.
Which one is the version everybody recommends? Do you know the difference?

The red pot (British) is the most commonly one available and is the one most people are referring to.

Here in the UK, its called ORIGINAL. As opposed to all the variations that came after it.

Yes,but the ingredients are different.

I like the UK Brylcreem but you have to use it quite sparingly because its quite oily.
If the US version has less oil, I'd say it would be better.
