What am I doing wrong? Everytime I use release then try to apply tape it never attaches and slids off.

Should I be using something after the lace release to allow the tape to stick?

Should I be trying the lace better with hairdryer before attaching tape?

Any suggestions would be great.

1) Try cleaning the base with grease cutting dish soap to remove any residue

2) Mist the base with alcohol, wipe clean, and allow to dry for a minute before applying tape

3) Press the tape FIRMLY into the lace

It also makes a difference what kind of tape you are using. Red liner won't stick to lace, blue liner probably sticks the best, and the rest are somewhere in between.
