does a foward ventilation make it more manageable and easier to style?

post, what do you mean? is it hard to comb the hair forward?

Tape around the entire perimeter except at the hairline, where I use glue.

Since there is a lot of "blunt" edge french lace with hairline that meets right at the edge it is detectable to touch if it isn't tacked down 100%. If this were an all swiss custom unit as opposed to something I cut out of an old full cap this would be a lot less of an issue because I could have a little extra lace extending beyond the hairline, but as it sits the tape plus the french lace plus the hairline right at the edge needs to be well attached and even then someone might be able to detect it.

I think it's pretty good for a recycled full cap though

I always get forward ventilation. The only time I would order anything else is if I were going to wear the hair totally slicked back. No problems spiking a unit with this kind of ventilation.

Hi dear JRob,

Please, I have a question for you, about adhesive tape, because I have problem with "Blue-liner" tape that release a lot of residue on my lace when I remove the lace of my hand.


What's the best? ......I look for a good "tape" with minimal residue, what do you recommend me?

blue tape is really great...I mean if you let it attached for 4-5 days you get no residue on lace...for me it works good.

You might want to try Walker No Shine or Stick It tape. Both offer an excellent hold with less cleanup than blue liner. I also get less irritation in the nape with these tapes.
