Quick note: I went to Wal Mart to find Fray Check and couldnt find it so I got Fray Block instead, thinking it was the same thing. ITS NOT! So dont make the same mistake I did. It wont work! Haha! Look for the real thing ok?!

Be careful with Fray check ...

I'm having this exact problem - I was experimenting with the Fray Check, and tried to clean up today using mirror slide, but the Fray Check has left some residue in the lace that I can't seem to get out. Does anyone have any tips on how to effectively clean out the Fray Check?

As it says on the tin use alcohol, Spray it on or dip it in the alcohol leave it to soak for a while and bobs your uncle it removes easily, De solvit also cleans it up easily I have had no problems at all.

Yeah I wouldn't expect the mirror slide to be much good in removing Fray Check, as it's more of a plastic-polymer base than a rubbery glue that normally responds well to the mirror slide.

What BA said-- 99% alcohol or De-Solv-It takes it off.

Exactly RD the mirror slide is useless to remove Fray Check, It tells you on the pakage how to remove it,Of course I would expect you to know that as you have always been informative and spot on with your posts over the years.
