Hello, I was thinking of ordering either poly on back and sides or thin skin, however I wanted to know which would be better, ie the benefits and drawbacks of these two materials to have on back and sides? Thanks for any help.

If you order a full cap like you were talking about, don't get skin for your first one.

well homer, it depends on what type of piece. in your latest post, you said you were going to wear it with shaved back and sides....so you will NEED to have all lace. no poly. if you are going with a full cap, I would listen to JRob. he knows what he is talking about when it comes to full caps. he has tried it both ways.

sorry i should have made it clearer, I mean when I am wearing a piece again with full back and side hair and not a full cap.

many do thing that attaching is definitely easier with a 1" poly strip on sides and back...but you do lose some undetectability with that type of base.....so it really boils down to personal choice.
