I currently get freestyle and works pretty well for me but can't always get it to go right. Will flatback give a better hairline? Can you only wear it combed back or is there some versatility to it? Sometime I get a heavy look with what I am doing now, sometimes it look great but not always consistent. Can you sill have a bang to the side with flatback?

Yes, you can still comb the hair down in the front. I personally think the Spikey/flatback front looks more natural. You should at least try it..but make sure you specify freestyle with a spikey/flatback front. I messed up the first time and ordered all flatback.
