The shorter the hair the trickier it is to blend. Longer hair is more forgiving. Here's a good example of short hair that's blended well:

Had a customer ask about blending the cut of his own hair with the hair system. Again, the shorter the hair the tricker it is to blend. And of course it needs to be trimmed more frequently than longer hair.

I have had this style many times, and its just my opinion but you really don't have to worry about blending very much with this hairstyle. Its supposed to be very short on the sides and back and a little longer on top
