Does the lace edge disappear on tanned/darker skin? If not, is cutting the lace edge off up to the edge of where the hair begins a good idea?

When properly attached the lace will disappear. It's translucent and will take on the color of your scalp. Some people like to cut the lace off right up to the hairline. Others like to leave one or two rows of lace. It's a personal choice.
