See the title.

How can I do this?

It's very frustrating having to peel the tape of the unit instead of my head.

I am using lace release and spray it into the areas where the tape is.

For me it's 50/50. Sometimes tape stays on my head, sometimes stays on lace.
When it's on lace, just spray some more and gently peel off.
What tapes do you use mate?

Use lace release, but you have to let it work for a few minutes before removing. After that, the vast majority of tape and glue should be on your scalp.

Use a pipette. I bought a pack of 5 of ebay, cost me £3.

I fill the pipette with lace release and use that instead of spraying. Let it sit for a few mins, make sure not to let it run into your eyes. And it will stay on your scalp.
