I see the TL 700 base looking all cutting edge and "new generation-y" on the order options page, but I haven't heard much buzz or experience around here on it. Has anyone tried it enough to feel comfortable giving a review of it?

Yes me mate, Very thin but like with all type of skin bases that I have worn over the last 25 years I start to get a little itchy on my scalp after about 3 days with it, My body chemistry isnt really compatable with any type of skin base, Some can wear them for a week of more but not me.
