I have had two conflicting methods of using conditioner on a hair system.

1. rub conditioner in your hands, and apply to hair, this avoids the knots which might come loose on the base material.

2. let unit soak in basin with conditioner mix in it.

which one do you use, I have always used the former for conditioner due to the knots information, I use the later method for shampoo though.

do you feel it conditions it better when you soak it in a bowl of warm water + conditioner.

I, personally have been using method #1 exclusevely after reading a post about conditioner dislodging the knots or something to that affect.
