Yea, I just find it easier to slap on some glue and be done with it. The blue liner isn't so bad, but some of these tapes when you try to rub the backing against them they want to lift away from your scalp if you aren't careful.

Believe it or not almost all of the glue stays with the tape on your head.
I don't use tape right up to the hairline. the tape is only there to give a good solid hold. I use white glue by itself to finish the edge. When I go to release anywhere where there is tape (even with white glue on top of it) the lace is pretty much clean, but the areas that were glue only i get quite a bit of residue left in the base after 4 days
