I have been using Cathy in Schaumburg. She has over 20 years experience with hair pieces. She works out of her home. $60 for a topper. Does an excellent job and very nice. [email protected]

I use Ghost Buster and it works like a champ. I take the piece( which is an ultra thin skin}, which is probably easier to clean than lace, and place it in a plastic container with about an inch of Gho...

I am talking about family. My pieces are not obvious, but my family knows that I wear. Some of them just think it is a vanity, and that I look fine bald. I beg to differ.

There are videos on youtube on how to cut in a piece. Suggest to your stylist that he watches them before hand.

Post: RE: skin wearers question

As Johnny mentioned Davlyn Black is the way to go with skin. White glues are not as effective on skin as they are on lace. I don't know why, but it isn't. If Got2B doesn't work for you, a full scalp b...

I paid more than that to HCM. I didn't know any better, until I found the world of online hair. It is criminal what they charge.

Looked like a monofilliment base, no wonder the hairline was so bad. If it was a lace piece, I would have less density in the front. Before I found online hair, I paid Hair Club over $3500 a year ...

If this is an ongoing problem, are you sure the glue is dry when you attach? The glue should be tacky to the touch and not wet.

I ask only one question. What would be worse, on the very rare occasion being "caught out", or being bald the rest of your life. End of story.

Yes, I have found that acrylic glue takes longer to dry than white glue. When the glue is tacky to the touch, it is ready for attachment. This will also keep the glue from seeping thru the lace into t...

You may want to try waiting 10 minutes between coats. Does the glue feel tacky when you are ready to attach? If not, it needs to dry longer. You can speed the process up with a hair dryer.
