I just received my freestyle custom a few days ago and had it cut in yesterday. The ventilation is very good at the front. I guess it all depends on the ventilator.

My cut in stylist told me its not a good idea to hilight your piece. The hilights can turn green. You should order hilights with the piece.

I have the same problem you have with french lace but I don't get any ripples with SFS. The hairline is too hard, needs to be more graduated and staggered.

You don't need poly, or if you want you can order 1" double lace around sides and back. I also started to loose my hair in my late teens.
