The site from where the pictures origin does not have a 0,03 mm skin front - I know, because I have there thinnest skin piece.

Some hairs have been cut off short in the front yes. But the main issue is properbly the high density in the front. The glue looks white under the skin.

If you really lucky they didn´t use fabric dye and you can bleach the knots. If the did, you wont be able to bleach anything or at least end up with a orange looking scalp. Regarding coloring the unit...
