| Hi Viserion - yes the extra strip of empty lace at the front is standard. Cut it off carefully with a very sharp pair of scissors - nail scissors are ideal. Some guys cut right up to the front hairs... |

| Yes, 99% isopropyl alcohol does the same job. If you can't get that, rubbing alcohol (which is a lower percentage of purity) is better than nothing. |

| Are you letting it cure properly? It has to have at least 3-4 hours (ideally 24 hours) with no water and no heavy sweating.
Ultrahold Tape is about the strongest I have found. |
