Post: RE: sports and sweating

As soon as you start getting sweaty just pour some water from your water bottle over your head. Athletes and sportsmen do it all the time, and it looks perfectly natural.

What actually happens to it? Does it shed, or fade, or dry out?

No, it's a barrier liquid. It dries to form a clear impermeable layer which stops your natural oil and sweat getting onto your adhesive and breaking down your bond.

1. I won't say that you never get a bit of shine off tape, but it is made pretty matte to avoid that happening. If the lighting is so strong that it is making your tape shine, it would probably also s...

Going for all lace is not a disaster - in fact a freshly applied all lace piece is the closest thing in terms of look and feel to having your full head of hair back. It is true that poly is easier to...

Stock pieces are made to be cut down to size. Could you cut the size you need from the stock piece if you cut away the poly rim? It's not a good idea to have poly immediately behind your hairline anyw...

You have to buy the adhesive separately. The packaging is completely neutral - nothing to show that it is a hairpiece.

Vaseline is good, but I think the best thing is to pin your wig to a polystyrene wig head, then suspend the wig head upside down over the bath tub. That way, the dye will drip away from your base rath...

I haven't heard of any means of treating excess sebum production separate from sweatiness. Could it be a matter of diet? Do you have a particularly oily diet?
