stiffness of SFS BASE? - UncleDonald - 05-06-2009

Hey all,
I'm a content Toplace customer and will ever be, but for some reason my latest unit came in a state of a "stiff" lace base and it doesn't stick well to the tape, you really have to press VEEEERY hard until the tape finally sticks to this unit.. Before, all my units had a very smooth base that lay down easily to the scalp. The new one is perfect all over (colour, curl, knot-bleaching) but the lace itsself is somehow "harder" than before, somehow "crushed"... as the rest is so brillant, I didn't want to send it back to Toplace, anyway, I do NEED this one rather urgently, so I couldn't afford sending it away for weeks or so.

Now, I wonder how to get the rather stiff lace smoother, so that it lays down more easily to the scalp and better sticky to the tape.

Do you have any ideas for a solution?
