cleaned lace now it wont stick to my head???HELP!!! - the7thson - 05-12-2009 HI Guys Wonder if anyone can help I washed and conditioned my 2 small pieces in Boots coconut and almond range (see below link) as recommended on another forum by a UK wearer http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/ ... ogId=11051 Anyway I put the in the sink added shampoo then swished around rinsed the hair then did the same with the conditioner, after rinsing the them I left them to dry on my styro head. Once totally dry I tried to attach with Ultra Hold and just could not get them to stick at all not too sure what I've done wrong can anyone help???? Thanks Re: cleaned lace now it wont stick to my head???HELP!!! - JRob - 05-13-2009 You got conditioner on the base. Next time ONLY aply conditioner to the hair itself. Pin the hair onto the styro head and work the conditioner through the hair, let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse it out. As for what you have now, I would wash the base with dish soap first, let it dry, then wipe it with alcohol. Might have to do this a couple of times. You have to get the conditioning agents off of the base, mainly the silicones (which are in most conditioners).
