Does the piece ever come off when you sleep? - balamouti - 05-20-2009 John, Thanks for sending the helpful DVDs and the base samples so quickly. I watched the DVDs carefully and have to say the results look amazing. Michigan Baldy has got it down to a science/art. On the styling section of the DVD, his hairline looks incredible. He did a great job with the robo-cutter on the sides and back too. He was even brave enough to cut the piece pretty short/spikey even though I liked the bangs better. During day to day wear though, I have a few questions: What's ones morning routine? If I were gonna use the acrylic ultra hold glue, would I ever wake up in the morning with the piece hiding under the pillow? :-) How much time do I spend on the piece on a day by day basis? I would probably do weekly attachments every Sunday or something. I like a hair length of 4-6 inches. My hair has some body wave (not curly) and looks good when a bit longer. Would this be easy for the blending? Is it easier to maintain a short/spikey hairstyle or a longer one? Again, I thank this forum for all the help. It's been a godsend. Jim. Re: Does the piece ever come off when you sleep? - the7thson - 05-20-2009 Hi Jim in my short experience I have never woken up and found the hair elsewhere (Im a restless sleeper too) prob a bit of lift in the lace that you need to contend with in the morning thats about it. The only time I have come close to losing the small systems I use was when I used basebond for a couple of days had a hot bath went compleatly under the water and when I came out I came out without one of the pieces (ps I use 2 small pieces at the hairline) Re: Does the piece ever come off when you sleep? - balamouti - 05-20-2009 wow 2 small pieces. I did not know u can do that! Do u have a picture? It would really helpful. Thanks, jim. Re: Does the piece ever come off when you sleep? - the7thson - 05-20-2009 yes sure see below Re: Does the piece ever come off when you sleep? - balamouti - 05-20-2009 Wow, I cant tell where the heck they are! Good job with blending/attaching etc. I assume u use lace, 65% density no grays, indian hair? Is your method of attachment ultra hold? How often do u take off/service? Re: Does the piece ever come off when you sleep? - the7thson - 05-20-2009 spot on!!! i use ultrahold and have to re attach every 5-7 days, but im still learning Re: Does the piece ever come off when you sleep? - balamouti - 05-20-2009 saweet. are your pieces like 2x2? How small can you go with such small pieces? You're doing a good job for a new guy though. That guy on the DVD I watched is like a professor at this stuff.
