Doing a fade haircut - Xeon005 - 05-30-2009 I finally got a combo im pretty satisfied with cutting my own side hair to give a fade blend. I use a buzzer and use guards, 2, 4, and six. I found that skipping a guard works well. I use a two at the very bottom, and where i want the line, i use a strong rocking motion to cut the hairs longer at the end. Then i take a four, go over the unblended line and as i go up i do the rocking motion again. Lastly i use a number six to cut the very top hairs. My piece is cut with a number 8, So it all fits in really nicely now and i get a great blend and fade. regards Re: Doing a fade haircut - dino - 06-02-2009 congratulations! I know you've been wanting to get that blend perfected for a while now. |
