lace left in the front - zxcv - 05-31-2009 Hi I had a question about a bit of a lace that is left at the front of hair in the hair system..During the UK convention (my first) when new pieces were fitted on newbies..there was always a bit of lace that was left at the front..not much but it was still there..I was wondering why cant we get a system from the factory that has not lace at the front at all...I mean the lace should finish exactly when the hair on the system ends at the hair line..why have an extra 1/2 to 1 cm of lace after that..which might be a bit noticeable. I hope my question make some sense.. Thanks Re: lace left in the front - ToplaceUSA - 05-31-2009 zxcv, The factory will not trim the lace right to the hairline because most customers prefer to trim it to their own liking. Some like to leave two rows of lace, some one row, others none. It's a user's choice. Regards, John Re: lace left in the front - ruffryder - 06-01-2009 Lace in the front usually tends to fray with time too, so leaving a bit of extra lace gives you the liberty of trimming off the frayed bits when it gets older.. I cut my first 2 pieces right up to the hair, and am dealing with this problem now! Re: lace left in the front - Snipe - 06-02-2009 If you used Debbie's knot sealer you wouldn't have fraying. |
