Ordering length question... - dredgtones - 03-07-2010

This is probably a pretty stupid question but I was curious when it asks for the length you want the piece if your always suppose to order longer so you have more room to cut in??? OR if you want to order the length you want your piece to end up. For example I want my hair to be around 3-4 inches. Would I order 6 inches and cut it down to 3? Im sorry if this makes no sense at all I just never really thought about the length system before. Any info would be greatly appreciated

Your always want to leave at least an extra inch so that your stylist has something to work with. If you wear your hair at 3-4 inches then you would order 5" or longer. Up to 6" of hair length comes with a standard order. 6" of hair length is a lot so hair and some people feel like they have a real Beatle mob on their head when they do into to see the stylist. They feel uncomfortable sitting and waiting for the stylist. So keep it close to your normal length while still giving the stylist room to work.
