3/4 Cap with Sideburns/Temples - atlantaguy - 02-06-2018

All,

I am one of those 50-somethings who realizes it's time to move on from a topper.
Or maybe realizes LOL.

Anynow, I am intrigued by the idea of a 3/4 cap, so I don't need to worry about
the nape which seems to be a reoccuring concern/complaint about full caps. And
my back hair is fine.

So my question: is there any reason a 3/4 cap (with coverage to about 2 fingers
over the ears to just below occipital bone in back) couldn't also include the
sideburns/temples ? And BTW, no I don't want temple flaps.

Thanks,
AG

Well I'll answer my own question here and say I'm sure it's not a problem.

For 3/4 cap, the temples are already part of the template due to the size,
and then the sideburns would be to a 3/4 cap like temple flaps are to
a topper, i.e. just a piece hanging down. It would be smaller for a 3/4 cap (sideburns)
than temple flaps are to a topper, all pretty managable. For people concerned
about the transition to a full cap (like me) who just don't like their temples/sideburns,
I think this is a step of the transition to full cap, where maybe the entire step
may never be necessary.

Just a way of using some of your own hair on a full cap and I do not think I
even need to go further down the back than i do with my topper, so the
extended coverage is mainly on sides/sideburns/temples.

Looking so forward to it!

AG

Maybe post a pic if you want a second opinion or several. It's hard to really comment in the abstract.

You can have a partial cap made .I would strongly suggest that you go to a professional hairloss replacement stylist to have a custom template made of the exact contouring of temples, sides and back of head.

On a custom unit we can do anything you want. These are hand made to your exact specifications. We can add gray to the temples if you want. And we can use fine diameter hair in the temple areas too if you specify it.
