RE: Stripping color of piece that I dyed at home - thomasgrn - 11-13-2017 this piece is one where I died it too dark. I didnt take a before picture. Both the dye that I applied and the factory dye has been completely removed with the RIT color remover . Took 5 minutes in hot water. its still a little wet. Its a ilace piece I am going to have some fun with this one. I am going to dye it my hair color and then add blonde highlights using a boxed highlight kit I have. The only con about using the fabric dye is the smell. Its like rotten eggs, but it goes away in about an hour RE: RE: Stripping color of piece that I dyed at home - ToplaceUSA - 11-22-2017 That’s a great tip. Thanks! |
