strongest tape - fpstitan - 06-27-2017

hey guys,
what's the strongest tape in your opinion? my stylist uses tape that comes off as soon as i shower and sometimes come off in the back after a few days. i'm starting to think he's doing it on purpose so i go there every few days and i can't afford to keep spending $100 every time. is there a strong tape i can ise? i've seen him do it enough where i think i am confident in trying to put it myself. thanks all

Are you letting it cure properly? It has to have at least 3-4 hours (ideally 24 hours) with no water and no heavy sweating.

Ultrahold Tape is about the strongest I have found.

Baldrich is right. You should let it cure for 24 hrs before you shower or exercise. Most tapes today are very strong. But if you come home after getting a styling or exercising and shampoo your hair it will significantly weaken the bond.

Also, if you wipe your head with (90%) alcohol and let dry prior to attaching, it will make your scalp extra dry and help the tape to stick better and longer. I use Walker Ultrahold tape, and it lasts for 2 weeks.
