curls are gone - hendrik123 - 04-22-2015

Hi,

i am wearing for 2 weeks now.

My problem is that all curls of my piece are gone during the cut in.
So one combing of my hair stylist and all the curls were gone.

I have ordered 20-30mm curls.
I have attached a picuture of the piece before the cut in.

Is there anyone who wears curls or stronger waves in his piece?
Could I do anything to get new curls into my piece?
What should I do to maintain the curls in my next piece?

My aim is to have curls as in the second picture.

Thank you and kind regards
Hendrik

Hi Hendrik,
Some of the curl ends up on the barber's floor after your first cut-in. But in a more practical sense the waves are heat induced by the factory. So
with a washing and even just combing the curl loosens up. You ordered a medium wave and that's heat induced (curling iron). When
you get up into the medium curl category the factory uses a 'perm' which lasts longer than a heat-induced wave but unlike the name implies it is not permanent--just
like real growing hair looses it's perm over time. The hair system is 100% real human hair so in order to get the wave back you
need the curling iron or a perm. Sometimes when people order a body wave (one step up from straight) the customers are
surprised the see the strong wave--they think it's a mistake. But once combed and washed it loosens up.

John

Thank you.
How is the result of the perm of the medium curl for example.
How does is look? Natural or very artifical?

My desired style is like the second picture above or more like in the attached picture.
Is the redness of the hair an indicator for a hair piece?

What kind of curl do you recommend to achieve this style?

Hi Hendrik,
That looks like it's between a medium wave and a tight wave so I suggest just ordering a 20 mm wave which is between the two. I'm not sure what you mean
by 'Is the redness of the hair an indicator for a hair piece?' Could you explain that a little more please? Properly done the wave will
look very natural. Remember that this is real human hair.

John

My actual piece has something between 20-30mm and all the curls are gone.

Or should I order the wave with a perm?

The hair looks a bit redish. Or does natural hair also tend to look redish?
I thought that he maybe also wear a hair piece.

I believe he means that brown hair system hair seems to always have a reddish tinge to it from what I've seen posted on this forumn by other wearers as well as in my own hair system I've ordered but not cut in yet. Some users have dyed they hair to better match the reddish brown hair systems they received.
