Best glue for lace? - Jorn - 08-02-2013

I don´t have oily scalp and I get a long bond with whatever I use, but I´ve tried walker 3mill and it way too shiny and turns brownish after some days. Does the walker ultra glue have this issue? How many layers of glue is needed and how long is the dry-time for walkers ultra glue? Any other glues out there that better. I just need 1 week hold and could use an easy clean up.

Yeah, it would be great if someone could post something about glues, because its a subject that hardly gets a mention on these boards. :-)

Hi Jorn !

For extended wearing, for me, Ultra Hold is the best, i don't see another glue with this result.
In my case only a thin layer is sufficient for 3 weeks, with sometimes few adjustement on front hairline.
I'm have tested during 4/5 weeks up in winters condition, for me 4 weeks is the maximum, in summer not more than 3 weeks for secure bonding.

Hi Joe

Only 1 layer then? Does it turn dirty/brownish after a while?

How do you know when its dry - its so guyi..

RE: Best glue for lace? - joe - 08-03-2013

Yes, just one layer you can use two if you want, but this glue is really very strong.
If you search a extended wearing, this glue is perfect for you.
No dirty/brownish for me after a while, with heat she liquefies in three weeks, but she remains transparent even.

I wait ten minutes after a layer, this glue dry quickly. Be carefull, it's very hard to detach system freshly glued, you must be very precise when you put it in place.

Before use this glue, don't forget to test it on your skin.

Ive been using the 3mill walker and don´t like it. I´m going to try walker glue tommorow.

definitely oil resistant white glue.(ORWG)WATER BASED.
3-4 week hold .winter colder months,
2 week hold summer

touch ups very easy, clean up* , ok(*varies depending on wear time)

Antywanty

I read on this forum some good feedback about Orwg.

For short routine process i plan to test it.

Thanks
