Colouring Gray Hair - Daveraver - 07-22-2013

Ive got some gray, about 10% in my piece but ive have had to colour the entire piece due to it lightening / turning red

However, i have coloured the gray hair and i was wondering if there's any way that i would be able to colour the gray back again?

Hi Daveraver,
Your gray hair absorbed the coloring---that means it's real human hair. Synthetic gray does not absorb coloring. There's not much you can do to restore the gray. In the future you might want to specify that you want synthetic gray hair on your unit and it will not take on the coloring.

I remember my hairdresser saying they use synthetic hair for grey because, when they colour natural hair grey it turn a nasty yellow over time, hence using synthetic hair for grey
