I tend to go the same route as you do with my styles.. John sent me a new piece yesterday and I now know exactly how it shall be cut in Re: New Piece shown at different lengths pics - paco71 - 07-31-2009 Great pics Snipe. Two questions. - Have you ever tried complete brushback ventilation. BA recommended this to me once for this type of hairstyle because the hair on top, when combed forward, lies less flat. - You also specify that you want no graduation. Does this make a big difference for your style? Greetings Re: New Piece shown at different lengths pics - Snipe - 07-31-2009 Thanks fellas for the kind words. Paco, I have not tried any brushback but Fred is a brushback expert I do believe. I am pretty much settled on this vent combo, it works well for my head and face. As for the no graduation, it does work better for the styles I want and it also makes a difference in that I never have to worry about the tape at the hair line showing. Re: New Piece shown at different lengths pics - Mr.Burns - 07-31-2009 Looks really cool Snipe, well done with this cool style! So you're back to using the curtains style, just like me? I think you can leave it even a touch longer at the sides (where it gets closer to the ears). Re: New Piece shown at different lengths pics - Snipe - 07-31-2009 Hey what's up C? Thanks for the comp! No curtains, temple flaps, check out the how to make a template thread, there's a pic there of my piece and you can see the flaps. Gotta have em. Re: New Piece shown at different lengths pics - Snipe - 07-31-2009 You're also right about the side hair. I have a bad habit of cutting it too short. Re: New Piece shown at different lengths pics - paco71 - 08-08-2009 Hi Snipe, Do you have single strands in the front? Regards Paco Re: New Piece shown at different lengths pics - Snipe - 08-08-2009 That's a great question Paco, answer is no. I sent in my template marked up, the template pic that is in my thread how to make a template and I emailed John with the exact information as in the specs above. Basically this is a standard Toplace made to my template. |
