Washing scissors? - kevinme - 12-24-2012 Hey folks I would have stuck this in the question thread, but the last question in there is from me 6 months ago. Just a quick one, how do you guys wash your scissors? I have a basic set which now have quite a big of residue glue sticking to them and although I can still cut through the tape with them, they are beginning to stick a little. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks for reading and Merry Christmas to you all! Here's to 2013 as well! RE: Washing scissors? - Hersute - 12-24-2012 Here is an advice page related to cleaning sticky scissors: http://askville.amazon.com/clean-sticky-scissors-cutting-backed-velcro-blades-gunked/AnswerViewer.do?requestId=1107353 Not surprisingly, it recommends all the products we already use for removing adhesive from our skin and bases. You can also buy stick resistant scissors ideal for cutting tape. http://www.officeallsorts.co.uk/scotch-titanium-non-stick-scissors-ambidextrous-comfort-handles-200mm-ref-1468tns-mix?utm_source=google_base&gclid=CL6axIeGsbQCFaTMtAodcmAAdw RE: Washing scissors? - kevinme - 12-24-2012 Thanks, Hersuite for the links and advice.
