Two neat videos involving systems - Sidney_Matthew - 11-25-2012 I know we constantly have new members joining our forum so when I found these videos I thought all our members would enjoy them. This first video is a cut-in of a skin system. A long time ago someone on this forum posted a video with this guy in it and this new video is basically a follow up to the old one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZ6WqdwHJb0&feature=my_liked_videos&list=LLqQWBV7c1PCDamFzjKFCaaQ This other video is in French (I think), but it shows a system being applied and shows a trendy low maintenance hairstyle that some may want to consider. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxnOqaofJs8&feature=my_liked_videos&list=LLqQWBV7c1PCDamFzjKFCaaQ (I am not affiliated with any of these companies or the people in them.) Enjoy! RE: Two neat videos involving systems - andrei_eremenko - 11-25-2012 the first guy...Steve he suffers from the wide forehead sysmdrome....I don't lilke his result...the second one is better.and it's norwegian or danish language...no way it's french. RE: Two neat videos involving systems - Hairenough - 11-25-2012 I agree about the Steve guy's system. I saw his videos a while back and thought the same. The density is too high for such a receeded and wide forehead. It doesn't look as natural as it could. Also that skin hairline is just a bit "wall of hair" for my liking. When are the factories going to start graduating the fronts of skins like they do on lace? The second guy got a great result. He's luckier to have really good side hair. I like this one. It's in 4 parts and I believe the system is lace: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgUIZ5Ko38M&feature=plcp And this is a good skin one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fw4FE6RjGrs&feature=related RE: Two neat videos involving systems - ToplaceUSA - 11-25-2012 This hair system is the equivalent of our TL 700 New Generation base. They're charging 269 British Pounds for the system which converts to about $431 US Dollars. We sell it for $329 US Dollars. I agree with Hairenough--- the hair line on their systems could be better--it was a 'wall of hair.' We graduate our hair lines on the TL 700 just like we do on the lace systems---it's much more realistic. These systems are fantastic! Do you think that is the v-looping? RE: Two neat videos involving systems - ToplaceUSA - 11-26-2012 Yes--it's V looping. Regards, John RE: Two neat videos involving systems - Hairenough - 11-26-2012 I love Toplace but I feel like the prices getting a bit steep. $329 is a lot, then you add the $50 for shipping and it comes to $379 for one system. There are well respected rival companies charging less than $200 for the same system and they can go even thinner to 0.03. I will keeping buying from Toplace but the prices are starting to sting a bit with each order to be honest. RE: Two neat videos involving systems - standbyme - 11-27-2012 He should really thin it down or grow his sides out it would look so much better. RE: Two neat videos involving systems - Porcupine - 11-27-2012 John, What toplace system is equivalent to the blonde haired guy (second link in the first post). This is an outstanding result and I especially like how the hairline is not completely covered but also somewhat concealed. I don't wear yet but this the issue of creating this type of hairline balance is critical to me. I think the two guys in the first post are a great example of a great system and a not so great (but not absolutely horrible) result. RE: Two neat videos involving systems - Hairenough - 11-27-2012 Does anyone know what sort of specs the first video would be? Is that an all skin system with v-looping? Or is it injected hair? If he had thick sides and a shorter style it would actually look good with a few of the hairline hairs plucked out. I would like to know what kind of ventilation the hairline is because t manages to sit up fairly easily for a skin system hairline. Another vid of his hairline is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owI1oyyICm0&feature=plcp It is a bit wall of hair looking but with a more graduated front I'd be very happy with that. But is it v-loop or injection? |
