Glue in the hair - Skeletor - 11-10-2012

I'm having a problem with my units. The glue gets absorbed into the hair, and no amount of rubbing alcohol will get it out, so I feel like I've always got glue in my hair and it doesn't look or feel natural.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there an easy way to get the glue out of the hair?

Soak the whole piece in Autoglym Tar & Adhesive remover.
It won't harm the hair or piece and the glue will turn to jelly and be easy to remove.

If this is an ongoing problem, are you sure the glue is dry when you attach? The glue should be tacky to the touch and not wet.

Hersute, would it be possible to keep one tub of the that adhesive remover and use it several times before discarding? how many times could you use it a tub of that stuff..?

Pour about 1/5 of the bottle into a shallow glass dish just big enough for the piece to fit. That way you will get 5 uses out of each bottle. I would not pour old dirty liquid back into the bottle for reuse. D

What about goo gone? Has anyone used that?

I use Goo Gone Gel to get the glue off my head.

Have you ever used goo gone to get glue out of the piece?
