Color matching to hair dye numbers - MorkFromOrk - 06-29-2012 I am trying to dye a blonde piece to match my hair which is dark brown #3 with no red/ash tones. I've tried nice and easy 116b but it's too light and too much red. Anyone who has the same colour figured out which product to use? RE: Color matching to hair dye numbers - NYCguy2020 - 06-29-2012 It's kinda hard to excatly match the unit color to a hair dye except maybe for blonde and jet black. You'll propably have to go a shade darker and color both your hair and the stsyem with the same dye. That's what I do as my hair is natural soft black(somewhere between 1B and Color 1) and neither color matches my sides and back. You can try 118B. RE: Color matching to hair dye numbers - MorkFromOrk - 06-30-2012 Thanks NYC . What do the letters indicate, anyone know. ie. 118b, 118d, etc. |
