I also found this recent picture of Donny Osmond (now in his 50s) and the review of his hair is as follows:
"Still blessed after all these years with a dense head of hair, Donny Osmond keeps up with the times with a little spiking done on top. Having all the neat and trim, "traditional" man’s haircut lines, cutting the top quite short for stand-up strands keeps an ordinary look extraordinary."
I wouldn't say it was 'extraordinary' but I would say it was a hair piece.
What does anyone else think?

nah I don't think its a piece.
I wouldn't call it extraordinary' either, loads of men have hair like that in their 50's.
